dam good beanie

it's a dam good hat.

what's dam good about it? well it's a beanie designed & pressed with love in saxapahaw, featuring laser-etched leatherette patch with my dam good logo: a mirrored pair of adorable NC beavers surrounded by the ripples of the Haw River and native willow oak leaves.

why the beaver? throughout north america, many of the earliest inhabitants, such as the Saxapahaw's own Sissipahaw nation, flourished beside streams and rivers. it is no surprise then that the beaver holds great spiritual significance in many Native American & First Nations communities for its perseverance, resourcefulness, and symbiotic relationship with its ecosystem. its existence serves as a constant reminder to be resourceful in one's daily life; to find creative solutions to navigate one's problems; to constantly work to build something for the benefit of the greater good; and to work with one's community to achieve common goals. 

it's also cute. plus, when you wear it, people will know you supported a small business, so that's cool.
